I was making a special effort to contact the family and friends of Nicholas to send my condolences, and to bring you some comfort from the scriptures which I found to be consoling with a wonderful hope for the future. 1 Corinthians 15:55-57 says. "Death, where is your victory? Death, where is your sting? The sting producing death is sin....But thanks to God, for he gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." Revelation 21:4 says, "God will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." So this is very encouraging what God promises for the future, and in God's appointed time we will see the reality.
