Obituary of James Blome

James Michael "Jim-bo" Blome, 53, of Vineland, passed away with his loving family by his side after a courageous battle with cancer on Friday, January 10, 2014 at the Inspira Hospice Center. He was born in Tallahassee, Florida at the Eglin Air Force Base. He attended the Vineland school system and graduated from Vineland Cosmetology School in 1984. He cut hair for many years but he was a professional commercial painter by trade. He belonged to many area clubs including The Moose Lodge in Millville, The Italian American Club in Vineland, The Eagles Club # 2369 and The North Italy Club. James had many hobbies and enjoyed going to concerts and traveling the United States. He recently traveled to Barbados and snorkeled with sea turtles. He is survived by his mother; Valerie Scavelli of Vineland, father & step-mother; Tony & Linda Blome of Texas, sisters & brothers-in-law; Deidre & Richard Levari Sr. of Buena and Valerie & Richard Brunetta of Vineland, sister; Bernadine Scavelli of Elmer, brother; Daniel Scavelli of Vineland, sisters; Tami Blome of Kentucky and Toni Marie Blome of Texas, nieces & nephews; David Barry, Richard Levari Jr. & his fiancée Pam Summers, Matthew & GeorgeAnna Levari, Samantha (Levari) & Shawn Huber, Rebecca (Levari) & Richard Giovinazzi, Danielle Scavelli, Christina Scavelli, Rachel Herbert, Kimberly Leal & Rachel Leal and many great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, aunts & uncles. He was predeceased by his brother in 1976; Keith Blome and his canine companion; CoCo. A Funeral Home Visitation will be on Thursday, January 16 from 12:30pm to 2pm followed by a Funeral Service at 2:00 pm at Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland, NJ.
