Obituary of Joseph Besada

Joseph Besada, 76, of Vineland passed away at home on Sunday, September 15, 2013. He was born in Philadelphia to the late Angelo & Rafaella (Petrocco) Besada. He moved to Vineland at the age of 11 years old and remained a lifelong resident. Joseph worked for many years as a glass worker for Wheaton Glass in Millville. he was a member of the Glass Molders Association and a loyal member of the Moose Lodge. For 25 years he sang with the Singing Ambassadors, having performed in many plays including; The King And I, Christmas Carol, Phantom of the Opera and many others. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, spending time outdoors,traveling, going on cruises, trips to Atlantic City, but mostly spending time with his 3 granddaughters and his family.
