Obituary of Carolina L Candeias

Carolina L. Candeias 72, Passed away Saturday in the South Jersey Regional Medical Center in Vineland. Born in Portugal to the late Manuel and Francisca ( Baiao) Candeias, before immigrating to Canada in 1965 and then to the US in 1973. Carolina, because of her husbands employment had traveled the world before setteling in Vineland. While living in Philadelphia she had been a member of The Portuguise Club and Our Lady of Fatima. Carolina enjoyed bowling, gardening, listening to music, singing and cooking, especially portugies food along with dishes from around the world. She had a love of animals and was a amiture photographer. She also had a collection of cultural artifacts. Her greatest joy in life came from taking care of her family. She is survived by her husband of 50 years Manuel of Vineland, son and his wife Manny and Jean Candeias and their children Matt and Liz of E. Aurora NY. Son John Candeias and his children Katrina, Shane, and Alicia of Vineland, Son Henry and his wife Lydia and their children Henry II and Heather of Vineland, and Great-grandson Hughes, Sisters; Caterina Lebre of Lisbon Portugal, and Maria Dagra Neves of Gravao Portugal. Also surviving are several Nieces and Nephews, and many friends. She was predeceased by a brother, Edwardo Lebre.
