Obituary of Esther Gonzalez

In Loving Memory of Esther Gonzalez On July 9, 2013, the Lord needed our precious Angel on Earth to serve with His in heaven, so He called upon our dear mother, Esther, to His service. As the true servant of the Lord she always was, Esther gladly answered the call with open arms. And although we are heart-broken with our loss, we are overjoyed with her selection for this glorious task and privilege. In addition to being a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, relative, and friend to all who knew her, Esther was a true servant of God. She loved the church and loved to always serve those in need - whether it be singing in the choir, visiting the sick, or serving during spiritual retreats. Her purpose in doing anything in life was to do for others. Her life was lived to the fullest by constantly filling it with her family and the church. She was loving and compassionate - dedicated and strong. Although a seamstress by trade in Paterson, NJ, Esther's true calling in life was as a servant to all she knew through her love, support, friendship, charity, and service. Her good humor and infectious smile would light up a room and inspire peace and love in all who experienced it. A better example of a Christian life well lived is hard to find. And now that her journey here has ended and her new journey with God commences, Esther can rest in peace and begin her service in heaven. We are confident that God will be satisfied with His choice. For this is not the end, but just the beginning of the many wonderful things Esther has yet to accomplish. Esther Gonzalez of Vineland (originally Camuy, Puerto Rico and Paterson, NJ) (75), departed this world survived by her loving husband of almost 54 years, Pablo Gonzalez, her children, Nancy Candelaria (Jose Candelaria), Pablo Gonzalez, Jr., and Armando Gonzalez (Mindy Roman), grandchildren, Joseph Anthony Candelaria, Ciara N. Montero, and Nicholas Hughens, her siblings, Antonio Morales, Luis Felipe Morales, Angel Luis Morales, Raul Morales, Carmen Morales, and Juana Morales. Esther is also survived by countless loving nieces, nephews, godchildren, cousins, and friends. Our comfort lies in the truth ..."Blessed are the dead, who die in the Lord from henceforth." Rest in peace our precious Angel and continue watching over us, as you did in this world. You will truly be missed.
