Obituary of Maurice Lerner

Maurice "Tommy" Lerner, 96 of Vineland, NJ, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2013. He was born in Wilkes-Barre PA and was a long time Vineland resident. Tommy was co-owner/operator of Vineland Home Supply, a furniture store on Landis Ave for more than fifty years. He was a member of Beth Israel Congregation, the Beth Israel Men's Club and the Jewish War Veterans. Tommy loved Phillies baseball, playing golf and cards with friends. He is survived by son & daughter-in-law, Michael & Beverly Lerner; son & daughter-in-law, Neal & Shirley Lerner; granddaughter & husband, Dana & Marty Gottesman; grandchildren, Tara, Bryan & Kevin Lerner; great-grandchildren, Covi & Leora Gottesman and his brother, Joseph Lerner; Tommy was predeceased by his wife of 57 years in 2004, Ethel (Gotsdiner) Lerner and his brothers, Harry & Emanuel Lerner. A Funeral Service will be held Thursday at 11:00 am from Beth Israel Congregation, 1015 East Park Avenue, Vineland, where friends will be received one hour prior to services. Interment will follow in Alliance Cemetery, Norma.
