I was making a special effort to contact the family of Felix to send my condolences and to bring you some comfort from the scriptures which I found to be consoling with a wonderful hope for the future. Notice the condition of the dead in Eccle. 9:5. "For the living are conscious that they will die, but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all." So they 'sleeping', no suffering, no pain, awaiting a resurrection. Revelation 21:4 says, "God will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. So this is very encouraging what God promises for the future, and in God's appointed time we will see the reality.

My dearest Grandpop, Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free I'm following the path God laid for me. I took His hand when I heard Him call; I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day, To laugh, to love, to work or play. Tasks left undone must stay that way; I found that place at the close of day. If my parting has left a void, Then fill it with remembered joy. A friendship shared a laugh, a kiss; Ah yes, these things, I too will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life's been full, I savored much; Good friends, good times, a loved ones touch. Perhaps my time seems all to brief; Don't lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your heart and share with me, God wanted me now, He set me free. God bless you grandpop, I love you, I know you will be watching over me always! You will always be in my heart!
