I know you don't know me, but I was making a special effort to contact the family of Joanne to send my condolences and to bring you some comfort from the scriptures which I found to be consoling with a wonderful hope for the future. Notice the condition of the dead in Eccle. 9:5. It says "For the living are conscious that they will die, but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all." So they are 'sleeping', no suffering, no pain, awaiting a resurrection. Revelation 21:4 says "God will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore..." So this is very encouraging what God promises for the future, and in God's appointed time we will see the reality.
