Obituary of Carole E. Girimonte

Carole Ellen (Barr) Girimonte, 64, of Newfield unexpectedly passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2013 and now is with her parents in heaven. She was born in Camden to the late Harry and Terry Barr. Raised in NE Philadelphia, she graduated from Cosmotology school. Soon after school she met and married the love of her life, Peter Richard Girimonte. They relocated to Newfield to raise their family and remained long time residents. her parents owned and operated The Newfield Tavern for over 30 years while she and Peter opened up Pete's Shoe Repair in Vineland and then later in Bridgeton. She was very happy working with leather side by side with her husband and best friend. nothing was more important to Carole than her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed camping trips, big family dinners and hanging poolside with family and friends. She kept busy by sewing, crocheting, playing computer games, rolling tobacco and was always excited to collect free gifts from computer advertisements, there was always something interesting arriving by mail. her family will always have the greastest memories of her and her sister Cherie always dancing, whether it wa the jitterbug, bristol stomp, or the mash potatoes. Carole will be forever missed and loved by her family and friends.
