Obituary of Carmella B. Sciore

Carmella B. Sciore, 93 of Vineland passed away April 5, 2013 in the South Jersey Regional Medical Center in Vineland. Born in Vineland to the late Joseph and Lena (Bracaliello) Gallo where she remained a life long resident. Carmella was a hard worker in the clothing industry spending fifty-two years in the Amalgamated Garment Workers Union. She was employed for several clothing shops in Vineland and Egg Harbor City before her retirement. Carmella was a member of Christ the Good Shepard Parish, the church of Sacred Heart. She enjoyed cooking and Baking especially her cakes, all baked from scratch, and pasta, home made Sunday morning, in time for the Eagles kick off at one PM Sunday afternoon. She never missed a Phillies, Flyers, or Eagles game on TV. Carmella is survived by her son, Lt. Robert L. Sciore (retired) of Vineland, and her sister Alvera and her husband John Zagari of Vineland. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Antoinette (Frank) Landi, Josephine (Raymond) Colaianni, and Margie (Henry) Stringari.
