Obituary of Nicola Stagliano

Nicola "Rocco" Stagliano, 85, of Vineland passed away peacefully in his sleep after a brief illness on March 10, 2013. Born in Calabria, Italy, he immigrated to the United States in 1962. While in Italy he served in the Italian Armed Forces. Rocco worked in the clothing industry for many years. He enjoyed spending his days in his garden, making homemade wine and Italian delicacies. He also enjoyed trips to the Atlantic City Casinos and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by wife of 51years, Rosa (Procopio) Stagliano; daughter & son-in-law, Maria Antoinette Gaunt (Michael); daughter Josephine Stagliano (Frank Gigliotti); sisters, Marianna, Rose, Teresa & Maria Stagliano; grandchildren, Gina, Joey & Anthony Gaunt. Rocco is predeceased by his parents, Gregorio & Mariantonia Stagliano and sister, Concetta Stratotti. A Funeral Home Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 8:30am to 10:45am at Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland, NJ. A Funeral Liturgy will be held Wednesday at 11:30 am from Christ The Good Shepherd Parish - Church Of Sacred Heart, 1010 East Landis Avenue, Vineland. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland.
