Obituary of Ruth Alvarado

Ruth Alvarado, 58 Ruth (Cordero) Alvarado, 58, went home peacefully to be with the Lord on Friday, February 22, 2013, surrounded by her loving family after a battle with cancer. Ruth was born in Vineland, on August 18, 1954, to Pedro and Virginia (Caraballo) Cordero. Ruth is survived by her husband Joe Alvarado, and her children: Diana Ruth Alvarado and Joseph Alvarado. Ruth also has three grandchildren which she cherished dearly; Elijah D. Saez, Naomi G. Saez, and Joseph Alvarado, Jr. Ruth leaves behind five brothers: Moses, Ezekiel, Ishmael, Lemuel, and Peter. Ruth was an encourager and strong believer in John 11:25-26 "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though they die, and whoever lives by believing in me will never die." Ruth was a loving mother dedicated to her children and enjoyed her grandchildren. She was an example of love and loyalty and lived a life under the obedience to the heavenly Father. All who knew her would say she had a beautiful smile, infectious laugh and a personality that would light up everyone she spoke with. She loved to dance and was happy spending time laughing and visiting with family and friends. She was a caring person and devoted servant of God. She will be remembered as a strong woman with a legacy for others to follow. As her name states in Proverbs 31:20; Ruth: "Compassionate," "She opens her hand to the poor, and reaches out her hands to the needy." Her energy, wisdom, and love will last a lifetime. We will cherish her memory for an eternity. We love you "Ruthie."
