Obituary of Herbert Bylone

Herbert L. Bylone, 77, of Buena Vista Twp. passed away on Wednesday morning, Dec. 14, 2011, after an extended illness. He was a lifelong resident of Buena Vista Twp. Herb attended Richland and Sacred Heart grammar schools and was a 1952 graduate of Sacred Heart High School. He enlisted in the Army National Guard after high school and was a member for eight years. In the early 1960s he received a diploma from ICS School of Masonry and Drafting and formed H. L. Bylone, Inc. During his years as a contractor, he worked with Elzer Drozdow, General Contractor and built many brick homes in the Spring Road area of Vineland. He also was a masonry contractor for Romeo Gelsi, and in the early 1970s, Herb did the masonry work for the Vineland Developmental Center Cottages on Spring Road. With his untiring effort, Herb then had the vision to create and construct Alpine Village Mobile Home Park. Herb was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a member of the Harmony Gun Club, and enjoyed fishing trips to Canada and deer hunting in Maine. He was a member of Brick Layers Local 5 NJ, New Italy American Society, East Vineland Fire Company, the National Rifle Association, and the New Jersey Mobile Home Association. Herb was also a Buena Vista Twp. Zoning Board and Buena Vista Exchange Club member. He was an American Red Cross blood donor for many years. Herb was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his devoted wife of 55 years, Gloria (Battistini) Bylone, his sister Carol and brother in law Morris Capriotti, his children Monica and John Jaworski of Vineland, Stephanie and Ken Pustizzi of Milmay, Lisa and Allan Weidman of Clermont, and Michael and Shannon (Maltese) Bylone of Milmay and eleven grandchildren, Kate, Andrea (fiance Eddie Boate), Jenna and Emily Jaworski, Kenny, Kevin (fiancée Jillian Paterini), Angela and Sarah Pustizzi, Allan Weidman Jr., and Laura and Amanda Bylone as well brother-in laws, sister-in laws, many nieces, nephews and cousins. He is predeceased by his parents Angelo and Madeline (Traverso) Bylone.
