Obituary of Clara Wasserstrum

Clara (Hochmann) Wasserstrum, 93, passed away, Tuesday, January 31, 2012, atKennedy Health Systems in Cherry Hill. Born in Zlochev, Poland, she came to the United States in 1949. She was a Holocaust survivor. Clara was a member of Beth Israel Synagogue, the Haddasah, Agudath Achim Synagogue, Hebrew Women's Benevolent Society and it's Sisterhood.She and her late husband owned and operated Sam's Market at Main Rd. and Sherman Ave. from 1961 to 1983. Clara is survived by her son Seymour Wasserstrum of Vineland and nieces Nella Glick of Vineland and Yetta Bergstein of Arizona, grand nieces and nephews,Eli Glick, Ethel Rosenberg,Jason and Evan Rosenberg, Susan Cancell, Smantha and Alex Cancell, Renee Goodman, Jordan Goodman, Leonard Bergstein, Rachel Bergstein and David Bergstein. she was predeceased be her husband of 45 years, Sam Wasserstrum in 1990, her sister Esther Distenfeld ,brother-in-law Solomon Distenfeld and her nehew Ben Bergstein.
