I recently was told of Mariann's passing and although it was too late to attend the service, I spent time remebering the young Mariann. My maiden name is O'Rourke and we were great friends in 8th-10th grades. Linda Porter, Denise Biagi and I talked over the phone and recalled fun times and what a natural talent she had at an early age cutting and styling hair. I hope she didn't suffer in her last days, the newspaper stated she had an extended illness. She is at peace now and will always be remembered for her fun personality and easy going nature.
