Dorothy Rita Verna, 84 of Buena, died peacefully in the Inpatient Hospice Center in Bridgeton, on November 14, 2009 after battling brain cancer.

Dorothy was born in Philadelphia, linved in Delaware County, PA and has resided in Buena for the last 22 years.

She was an active member of St. Mary's RC church in East Vineland as a Eucharistic Ministere and member of the Legion of Mary, 3rd Order Augustinian. She dedicated her life to her Catholic Faith and the Catholic Church.

Dorothy is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years, Joseph J. Verna, son Joseph J Verna Jr. of Ridley Park Pa. and daughters Helen E. Gager of Elkton, MD and Dorothy R. Hall of maryland. She had 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Dorothy was predeceased by her parents John and Violet (DeLuca) Perry, and brothers Walter and Jack.
