Obituary of Josephine Vastano

Josephine Ann (Fabietti) Vastano, 81, passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2009 at Bishop McCarthy Residence. She was born in Roccamorice, Abruzzi, Italy to the late Maria Conchetta (Parete) and Agostino Fabietti. Josephine volunteered for St. Francis Church and Villa Rosello and enjoyed babysitting her grandchildren. She loved entertaining and spending time with family and friends. She is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth and Deacon Frank Guearacini, Jr. and Ann and Mike Conte of Vineland; brothers Anthony Fabietti, of Brooklyn, New York; Gus Fabietti and wife Joanne of Vineland; sisters Eleanor Calandra and Husband Leonard of Mineola, Long Island, New York, Rosemarie Capabianco & husband Rocco of Encinitas California. sisters-in-law Alda Fabietti of Margate, NJ, and Marie Moratelli of Vineland; grandchildren Frank Guaracini III and wife Sarah and Constance Guaracini, Anna Conte, Victoria Guaracini and Gabriel Conte, several nieces and nephews who were very dear to her. Josephine was predeceased by her husband Domini Vastano; brother Victor Fabietti; nephew Thomas Fabietti and sister- in- law Angie Fabietti. Church visitation will be on Thursday, September 3, 2009 from 9:45 to 10:45 am with mass at 11:00am at Sacred Heart Church. Entombment to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery Mausoleum.
