Obituary of Lena Buffa

Lena (Pustizzi) Buffa, 94, passed Sunday, July 6, 2008, at home. surrounded by her family. Born in Brooklyn, New York to the late Carmello and Josephine (Garilli) Pustizzi, she was an area resident most of her life. Lena worked with her late husband, Carlo, on the family farm and for Model Coat Company for many years. She was a member of Queen of Angels Parish, at Our Lady of Victories Church and the Amalgamted Clothing Workers Union. Lena was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking and was famous for her delicious meatballs. She loved her family and her biggest pleasure was spending time with them.
