I am deeply saddened by Mrs Agostini's passing. I grew to know her fairly well during my years of involvement with Key Club, as both my local advisor and when she traveled with us on several out-of-town trips for the organization. She was an amazing woman and a wonderful teacher, and she will be greatly missed.

Joyce was my 7th grade English teacher at Memorial--a teacher I adored. When my daughter joined Key Club at VHS, "Aggi" as the students called her was the head of Key Club and I was in contact with her again. She was a wonderful teacher and just a lovely lady. She will truly be missed.

Joyce was a great friend during my high school years from 1969-1972. She had a cute red Fiat 124 and I had a red TR4 and we used to travel around together. She was a great friend and will be greatly missed.

Mrs. Nicolato - I was heartbroken when I found about Ms. Agostini's passing. She was an inspiration and the best history teacher I ever had. I won't forget her sense of humor and how she engaged the class on some of the less interesting material. I am sure she is watching down on all of us. She definitely is an angel! My prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. -Ryan Feaster, VHS Class of '98

I had the pleasure of being in Miss Agostini's English class at Memorial and her US History class at VHS. I remember that she was always full of energy and had a ready smile. It was in her English class I memorized all the prepositions! In US History she often let us bring in cupcakes for the class to celebrate holidays and birthdays. I remember getting her off track a few times talking about her ski trips. May your memories keep her close in your hearts.

Ms. Agostini was a really great teacher... I had the pleasure of having her for my Honors US History my senior year and can honestly say I am responsible for a few of her gray hairs. But no matter what she would just turn around and laugh. She will Be Missed greatly by all... M. Starcher VHS Class of 2001

I was shocked and saddened to learn of this. Joyce Agostini was my seventh-grade English teacher at Memorial 44 years ago and I remember her fondly--particularly her energy and enthusiasm and cheerful manner. May her memory be a blessing.
