Obituary of Jesus A. Rodriguez

Jesus A. "Jesse" Rodriguez (aka Chú) RODRIGUEZ, JESUS A. "JESSE" (aka Chú) 68 - of Vineland passed away Sunday, July 29, 2012 at his home after a battle with cancer. Born in Manatí, Puerto Rico. Prior to his retirement he worked at the Bridgeton Sheriff Department for many years and later worked in the carpentry industry at Sands Hotel and Casino. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing and gardening. He loved to spend time with his family, loved ones and friends. Jesus was a strong willed man with a kind heart who loved life and received gratification in helping others. He is survived by his wife and domestic partner of 30 years, Frances Matos-Rodriguez, daughter, Maria Cruz; son, Anthony Rodriguez and devoted step son, Richard Silva. Brothers and sisters: Miguel A. Rodriguez Pellicier, Felix M. Rodriguez Pellicier, Rufino Rodriguez Pellicier, Haydee Rodriguez Pellicier, Abigail Rodriguez Pellicier, Rafael Trinidad Pellicier and Olga M. Trinidad Pellicier. Nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Beloved pet, Typhoon. Predeceased by his parents Rufino Rodriguez Torres and Ruperta Pellicier Ramos and sister, Ada L. Rodriguez Pellicier. Funeral home visitation will be held on Wednesday from 6 pm to 8 pm at Rone Funeral Service, 1110 E. Chestnut Avenue, Vineland, NJ with service being held at 8 pm.
