Obituary of Bruno Patella

Bruno Patella, 85, passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2007, in South Jersey Healthcare Medical Center. Born in Philadelphia to Anthony and Eletta (Verrayani) Patella, he was a Vineland and Landisville resident most of his life. He served in the US Army for four years during World War II under General George Patton. He was in the Normandy, Northern France, Ardennes, Rhineland and Central Europe Campaigns and Battles. Bruno was a tractor-trailer driver for 25 years for Tri-State Transportation of Vineland and Bellmawr until his retirement in 1986. He was a member of the Teanster's Union, Local 676, the V. F. W. of Franklinville and the Senior Action Club of Vineland. Bruno enjoyed going to Ocean City during the summer, wrestling, country western movies and music and he always loved tinkering around the house and going to the Vineland Produce Auction. Most of all, he loved being with his family.
