Obituary of Marylou Bond

Bond, Mary Louise (Marylou) (nee Hennessy) 80 - of Ocean City passed away suddenly on April 1, 2014 surrounded by her family. Born in Vineland, NJ on August 12, 1933 to the late Joseph and Josephine Hennessy. Marylou graduated from Sacred Heart High School in 1950 where she was cheerleading captain, played both basketball and softball and danced whenever she had the opportunity. Marylou was predeceased by her husband John T. Bond in 1988. Marylou met John on the 14th street beach in Ocean City in front of his business the Rustic Garden. She is survived by her four sons, Keith Bond (Karen Martin) of Vineland, Joseph Bond ( Maryann) of Wildwood Crest, David Bond (Renee) of Cherry Hill, Robert Bond (Debra) of Ocean City, and her grandchildren Michael (Maggie), Steven & Brian Bond, Jake, Zachary, Cory, & Max Bond, Robert Morris (Kelly) & Caitlin Bond and she was looking forward to the birth of her first great grandchild in July, sister and best friend Kathleen Dusz (Robert). Marylou loved walking the Ocean City Boardwalk and sitting on the 45th St Beach with her sister Kathleen. Visitation will be held from 1pm to 3pm on Sunday, April 6 followed by a memorial service at 3pm at Rone Funeral Home, 1110 East Chestnut Ave. Vineland, NJ 08360. Interment will be private.
