Obituary of Joann Guaracini

Joann (Herold) Guaracini originally from Columbus, Ohio passed away peacefully at her home in Vineland, New Jersey. She was surrounded by her daughters, grandchildren, twin sister, nephew and son-in-law. Joann moved to Vineland 49 years ago when she met her Prince and married Lou Guaracini. After graduating North High School in Columbus, Joann attended Andre Correale Modeling School and went on to become a model for the agency. She did various modeling assignments in New York City. Joann and her twin sister were the Toni Twins on television and in advertisements. Family was most important to Joann and is where she spent most of her time. She was an exceptional mother doing anything for her children and grandchildren. Joann worked in the family business of Vineland Shop Rite Supermarkets and ShopRite Liquor Warehouse Millville. She had a contagious Irish spirit and wit and loved pratical joking. Life was a party for Joann and she was the star of the show. She was a devout Irish Catholic and her faith was very important to her. She had a special devotion to Saint Anthony and Saint Theresa. Joann was a member of Saint Padre Pio Parish and the Grandparent's Association at Saint Mary School in East Vineland. Joann loved spending her summers in Ocean City, dining out in Philadelphia, and attending Atlantic City casino shows. Her hobbies included shopping with her daughters and grandchildren, attending her grandchildren's activities, going to lunch with friends, and hosting luncheons with the sisters from Daughters of Mercy. She was an avid fan of Notre Dame and Ohio State football. She will be sadly missed but certainly never forgotten because God truly broke the mold when he created Joann, she was one of a kind. Joann is predeceased by her husband of 41 years Lou Guaracini, parents Lewis and Francille (Durkin) Herold, brother William Herold, sister-in-laws Theresa Geri, Mary Pagano, Rose Rossi, and brother-in-law Frank Guaracini Sr. Joann is survived by her twin sister MaryLou DelMatto, daughters Michaelann, Kristaann and son-in-law Todd Corona, grandchildren Michaelaann , Kambrianna, Michael, Kascianna and Vincent.
