Obituary of Kathryn W. Petrini

Kathryn "Kathie" (White) Petrini, 52, of Vineland, N.J., died unexpectedly at her home on Monday, November 18, 2013. She was the beloved wife of John Petrini and devoted mother of Kathryn Jean Petrini and John Petrini, II. She was born in Philadelphia and grew up in Bucks County. Kathie graduated from Neshaminy High School in 1979. She began working in the casino industry in 1982. Spanning more than 30 years, she began at Bally's in Atlantic City, N.J. where she met her loving husband, John. She then moved to Showboat and most recently worked at the Borgata Hotel & Casino as a casino supervisor. Kathie loved the casino business and made many lasting friendships along the way. Kathie loved skiing, was a fitness enthusiast, enjoyed spending time relaxing by her pool reading, and was an avid Phillies fan. She was never found far from her faithful companion, Scout, the family's Lab mix. Her greatest joy was the passion, devotion, and pride she had for her children. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, John R Petrini; daughter, Kathryn Petrini; son, John Petrini II; mother & husband, Kathryn (Pszwaro) & Joseph Jennings; brother & sister-in-law, Jean & Crystal White; paternal grandmother, Doris White; mother & father-in-law, John & Jean Petrini; brothers-in-law Joseph & Jay Petrini; sister-in-law, Joan Petrini and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephew and cousins. Kathryn was predeceased by her father, Thomas White and maternal grandparents, Oscar & Kit Pszwaro Funeral Home Visitations will be on Friday evening, November 22 from 6pm to 8pm and again on Saturday morning, November 23 from 9am to 10:30am at Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland, NJ. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 11am on Saturday, November 23 at Saint Padre Pio Parish - Church Of Our Lady Of Pompeii, 4680 Dante Avenue, Vineland, NJ. Burial will be in St Mary's Cemetery, Vineland, NJ.
