Obituary of Virginia Pepe

Virginia "Virg" Irene (Ciappa) Pepe of Vineland after a brief illness went peacefully home to be with the Lord on October 30, 2013. Born in Bridgeton, to Rosie (Russo) and the late Frank J. Ciappa. Virg was a graduate of Bridgeton High School Class of 1965, where she was a cheerleader and Miss Babe Ruth Queen. She has been married to Richard T. Pepe for 48 years and has 4 children, Duane Marie who is predeceased; Candice Lynn Schwed and husband Dale and their 3 sons, Israel, Jakob and Joshua; Dana Anne Consalo and husband Jonathan and their 2 daughters, Isabella and Cassandra; Son, Richard Thomas Pepe II and wife Carol and their children Sophia and Richard III. Virg was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed going to her children's and grandchildren's sporting events. She was an accomplished cook and astute business person, also affectionately known as "Mom" to many of her children's friends. Virg was very opinionated, outspoken and had no problem letting you know how she felt. She enjoyed golfing, crocheting and reading. She is survived by her mother-in-law Elizabeth Pepe of Florida and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Sharon & Dr. Robert Solomon of PA and FL. Funeral Home Visitations will be held on Monday evening from 6pm to 9pm and again Tuesday morning from 9am to 10:15am at Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland, NJ A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday at 11:00 am from Saint Padre Pio Parish - Church Of Our Lady Of Pompeii, 4680 Dante Avenue, Vineland. Interment will follow in Our Lady Of Pompeii Cemetery, Vineland.
