Obituary of James R Pagnam

James Robert Pagnam Sr., 87, of Vineland passed away on October 26, 2013 after a brief illness. Born in Mt. Vernon, NY, he moved to Vineland where he was a lifelong resident. He was predeceased by his wife of over 40 years, Margaret S. Pagnam. James honorably served in the Navy during World War II in the submarine service. He worked over 50 years as a crane operator and master mechanic with the Local 825 International Union of Operating Engineers. James was an accomplished local baseball player as a youth and lifelong fan of the game. He enjoyed fishing and stock car building and racing. He is survived by his two sons, James and John; grandchildren; Megan, John and Jim; great-grandchildren, Shannon and Keira; sisters, Lorraine Tobolski and Laurel Capone and long time companion, Bernice Brodzik. A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday at 10:30 am from Christ The Good Shepherd Parish - Church Of Saint Isidore The Farmer, 1655 Magnolia Road, Vineland. Interment will immediately follow privately in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland.
