Obituary of Minnie Molinelli

Minnie Molinelli 91, of Vineland passed away on Friday August 23, 2013 with her six children by her side, in the South Jersey HospiceCare Center in Bridgeton. She was born in Vineland to the late Dominick and Mabel (Smaniotto) Battistini where she remained a life-long resident. At an early age Minnie worked with her parents and on the family farm. After her marriage Minnie worked with her husband Charles in the Trucking, Produce Broker, and Farming industries. In later years she was employed as Deputy Clerk for Buena Vista Twp. for 14 years and also worked with her bother Joe "Batt" at the Harding House. Minnie was a former member of the East Vineland Fire Co.Ladies Auxillary, a member of the Parish of St. Padre Pio and an honorary member of the Grandparents Association of St. Mary's School in East Vineland. She enjoyed cooking for the Five Points Gunning Club for many years and received the Buena Vista Township Local Kindness award in 2001. Minnie will be remembered as a great cook, known for her specialties; crabs and spaghetti, rice pudding, ravioli's and sweet potato cakes. Minnie was always very supportive during the illnesses of her sisters, and family members. A dedicated mother, she leaves to cherish her memory, six children; sons and their wives; Charles and Margie, John and Lisa, Karl and Darlene, daughters and their husbands; Bernice and Daniel Ferrari, Sandra and George Readding, Renee and Anthony "Tony" Campana; Grandchildren; Danny Ferrari (Debra), Denise Ferrari-Steelman (Joe), Danielle Ferrari, Kathy Molinelli-Kochman (Trent), Maria Molinelli-Loper (Lew), Jaimi Molinelli-Cox, Jonathan Molinelli (Heather), Tony Campana Jr. Jason Campana (Barbara), Michael Campana, Karl Molinelli Jr. (Alycia), and Michele Galasso (Joey). Her Great-grandchildren Courtney Ferrari, Tyler Flanegan, Kaitlin Flanegan, Nicholas Loper, Alyssa Kochman, Ashlie Kochman, Ashtyn Molinelli, Lily Cox, Karl Molinelli III, and Gino Galasso. Also surviving are her Brother and his wife Joe and Pauline Battistini, a sister Gloria Bylone, and many nieces and nephews. Along with her parents Minnie is predeceased by her sisters Marie Debbi, Elsie Bononcini, Elizabeth "Betty" Ruggieri, and infant sister Anne Battistini, and her special niece and Godchild, Barbara Molinelli Cappellucci. Funeral home visitations will be held on Tuesday from 7pm to 9pm and Wednesday 8:30 to 10:00 am at Rone Funeral Service, Vineland, NJ A Funeral mass will be held Wednesday at 11:00 am from Saint Padre Pio Parish - Church Of Our Lady Of Pompeii, 4680 Dante Avenue, Vineland. Interment will follow in St Mary's Cemetery, Union road Vineland.
