Obituary of Frank A. Valla

Frank A. Valla, 62, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2007 at his home, with his wife and children by his side, after a twenty-two month battle with cancer. Born in Vineland, he was a lifelong area resident. Frank was a Vineland High School 1963 graduate. He attended Pierce Junior College in 1966. He left college during Vietnam to serve in the United States Army from 1967 to 1969 in Anchorage, Alaska. After his service, Frank attended Drexel University in 1973 where he majored in Accounting. He was an accountant for O-I Kimble Division and Daniel J. Avena before starting his own acccounting business in 1982. Frank was named the "Best of the Best" in the Daily Journal as the "Best Accountant" in 1996, 1997 & 1999. He was the past President and Treasurer of the Vineland Lions Club, and was also a member of the New Jersey Association of Public Accountants and the North Italy Club. Frank was an avid skier, hiker, hunter and fisherman. He loved winters on the Pocono ski slopes and summers in Sea Isle City. The pride and joy of his life were his twins.
