Obituary of Greyson R. Jones

Greyson Robert Jones, 13, of Landisville, passed away surrounded by the love of his family on Friday, August 21, 2026. Born on September 13, 2012, to Valerie (Santagata) and David Jones, Greyson spent his entire life in Landisville. Greyson recently graduated from Buena Middle School in 2026 and was excitedly looking ahead to high school at the Atlantic County Institute of Technology, where he planned to study aviation. It was a fitting choice for a boy who was always looking toward his next adventure. Greyson was always ready for an adventure. Give him a road trip, and he was in. Tell him there was somewhere new to explore, and he was ready to go. He loved to travel, discover new places, and experience whatever was around the next corner. If there was a chance to hop in the car and see where the road led, Greyson didn't need much convincing. A proud member of Boy Scout Troop 101, Greyson embraced the spirit of service and was an active participant in numerous community service projects. He understood that helping others mattered—and he was happy to roll up his sleeves and be part of the effort. Greyson was a true collection of talents and interests. He was a devoted NASCAR enthusiast, a guitar player, an artist, and a creator who loved bringing his ideas to life. And, of course, there was his love of Metallica. He loved his family and friends fiercely and treasured the moments he shared with them. Whether it was a family trip, an ordinary day together, a good laugh, or simply being surrounded by the people he loved, Greyson understood something that many of us spend a lifetime learning—the best moments are the ones we share. In addition to his parents, Valerie and Dave, Greyson is survived by his grandparents, Kathleen (Smith) and Joseph Santagata and Donna (Capriotti) Jones; his aunts and uncles, Stephen Santagata, Lynn Santagata (Randy Provenzano), Brian and Carla Jones, Stefanie Jones (Ray Cristobal), and Jarrod Jones; and his cousins, Tessa Jones, Raegan Cristobal, Vincent Jones and Isabella Cristobal. He was predeceased by his grandfather, Robert F. Jones, Jr. He also leaves behind many who proudly called Greyson their friend—classmates, fellow Scouts, neighbors, and friends who shared in his adventures, laughter, music, and everyday moments.
