Obituary of Rose Marie Deaver

With deep love and gratitude for a life well lived, we announce the passing of Rose Marie Deaver, who passed away at the age of 79, on July 27th, 2026. Our mother Rosie, otherwise known as Rosie Rags, was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Her love for her family was the foundation of her life. Her family and friends could call on her to be there for them at any time of need. Rosie's love was always expressed through the amazing food she made for everyone. You were never hungry in her presence, and you never forgot how good it was. She was honored by winning first place in the Best Sauce vs Gravy Contest and People's Choice Sauce vs Gravy in 2019. Rosie touched the lives of many with her kindness, strength, and caring spirit. She donated to charities including monthly to St. Jude Hospital and needy families for the holidays. She gave all she could to anyone in need. She is survived by her two loving children, daughter Barbara (Daniel), son Patrick (Michelle), 9 cherished grandchildren, Michael, Paige, Jacob, Giavonna, Brent, Patrick, Anthony, Angelia, and Brandon; six beloved great-grandchildren, Bella, Beatrice, Ruby, Berlioz, Violet another grandchild expected soon and her siblings, Ilene, Kitty, Russel Jr., Joe, Jennie, and Ralph. She was preceded in death by her husband Patrick, daughter Victoria, grandson Alex, mother Marie, father Russel, brother Nazareno and nephew Dominic whose memories she carried with her always. Her legacy lives on through the family she loved so deeply, the countless memories we will treasure forever, the traditions we will carry on, and the recipes we will cook. Though she will be greatly missed, her presence will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Her laughter, gratitude, and love will live on. Family and friends are invited to gather in celebration of her life and to honor the lasting impact she made on all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in eternal peace. A Funeral Visitation will be held on Monday, August 3rd, from 12:00pm-2:00pm at Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland, NJ. Followed by a Funeral Liturgy at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland. The family requests that donations be kindly made out to St. Jude, or the Wounded Warrior.
