Obituary of Dennis Peter Baldiserra

Dennis Baldiserra, 74, passed away peacefully at home on July 21, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Born on November 16, 1951, in Vineland, New Jersey, Dennis was the son of the late Biaggio and Lena (Bassano) Baldiserra. He graduated from Vineland High School in 1970, where he was an award-winning wrestler. Although his wrestling days eventually came to an end, in later years he joked that his toughest opponent had become remembering his Wi-Fi passwords. In 1978, Dennis married the love of his life, Veronica Phillips. Together they shared 48 wonderful years of marriage. Veronica was not only his wife but also his rock, his greatest supporter, and truly his angel. She was the driving force behind their family and lovingly kept Dennis, as those who knew them would say, "mostly in check." After graduating high school, Dennis began working as a carpenter and quickly discovered a passion for the trade. At just 25 years old, he founded his own construction business and went on to build countless homes throughout South Jersey. Those homes remain standing today, each carrying a little piece of Dennis's craftsmanship, pride, and spirit. If Dennis built your home, you knew it—his attention to detail and commitment to quality were unmistakable. Dennis enjoyed many hobbies throughout his life, including fishing, crabbing, watching sports, and following horse racing. Over time, however, soccer became his greatest sporting passion. He also had a love for technology and was always trying to convince his wife, Ronnie, to let him buy the newest television or computer. It helped keep him young at heart. Above all else, Dennis was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. His greatest joy came from spending time with his family, and the love he gave them will remain with them forever. He is survived by his beloved wife, Veronica Baldiserra; his sons, Michael Marco and Nicholas Baldiserra; and his cherished grandchildren, Denise, Ethan, and Noah Marco. Dennis is now reunited in heaven with his beloved son, Patrick Baldiserra, as well as his parents, Biaggio and Lena Baldiserra, and his brother, Robert Giovinazzi.
