Obituary of Louis Anthony Musto
Celebrating the long and meaningful life of Louis Anthony Musto, a long-time resident of Newfield, New Jersey, who entered into rest on Wednesday, July 22nd, 2026, at the age of 90.
Born on June 14, 1936, Louis was the son of the late Patrick and Philomena Musto. He witnessed nearly a century of history, shaping his own corner of the world through purposeful work and personal passions. He was a man who commanded respect through his actions, his fierce loyalty, and his steadfast dedication to the people he loved. Admired by all who crossed his path, Louis was a constant source of wisdom and generosity, always ready to share his time, his knowledge, or a helping hand.
Known to everyone as a genuine "jack of all trades," Louis had a natural talent for working with his hands and solving any problem put in front of him. Louis made a living as a farmer, grocery store manager, and a truck business/truck service owner. Louis brought ingenuity and grit to everything he touched.
Proud of his Italian roots, Louis was the true anchor of his family. His happiest moments were spent working in his yard, going out on the boat, playing pinochle, watching football, and bringing everyone together to share a homemade Sunday Italian dinner. He was someone who could always be depended on for sound advice, practical know-how, and an unmistakable sense of humor.
Louis is survived by his children, Ryan & Kaitlynn Agostini, Merrilee and David Musto, and Louis and Mary Musto. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Gavin Agostini, Levi Agostini, Chase Agostini, and Heather Musto. He is reunited in peace with his beloved parents, Patrick and Philomena, as well as his sister, Grace D'Ottavio.
Family and friends are invited to gather to honor Louis's life. The family wishes to express their gratitude for the kindness and support shown during this time
