Obituary of Kathleen A Vincents

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Kathleen Rocco Vincents, on her 89th birthday, July 15th, 2026. Born in Vineland NJ, to the late Joseph and Yolanda (Barbieri) Rocco. Kathy was an accomplished student and basketball player at Sacred Heart High School. She went on to nursing school in Trenton NJ and later moved to NYC with her two best friends Kitty and Eileen where they pursued careers in nursing. While working at St. Lukes hospital on Manhattan's Upper West Side, she met a Columbia University School of Architecture student and later our father - Alfonso Vincents (now 95 years old and a retired architect). Kathy was an avid birder in her free time - from Central and Riverside Parks to Cape May migrations, our mom was a staple. She is survived by her two sons, Laurence of Vineland NJ and David of Greenport NY, and her beloved companion Coco. A chapel service and burial will be held Monday, July 20th at 1:30 pm from Sacred Heart Cemetery, 741 E Walnut Rd, Vineland.
