Aunt Kathy, I wish we had more time with you when we were younger. I remember your sweet, kind, loving , and patient way. You are a beautiful soul. I remember visiting one summer and you would like to go jogging. It was right about the time I was starting to love exercise too. It inspired me. That was a great visit. When I see beautiful birds, I always think of you❤️I know what a devoted mom you were. You will be missed. I am sending my love to Larry and David and my uncle during this very difficult time Kelly

To my Dear Kathy Mom, I have such fond memories of you and all of the joy and happiness that you have blessed me over the years. It was always such fun to have you spend time with us out in the NorthFork. Kathy Mom loved nature, walks on the beach, and she had a very adventurous spirt. I will miss you and never forget the kindness that you always showed me.

Aunt Kathy was such a beautiful soul. I have fond memories of the times my sister and I spent with her during our summer visits to the city. She had the softest voice and most gentle manner with all of the cousins as we ran around and played practical jokes from the eigth floor windows. Aunt Kathy always brought home fresh fruits and vegtables from the market. She was ahead of her time when it came to eating healthy and organic. Her tomato sandwiches were my favorite. I especially enjoyed walking to the park with her and Muffin as well as playing with all the kitties that she so loved. Later in life, we had a very memorable time visiting all of the places that were so special to her on The Upper West Side. She introduced me to the peacocks that live behind a The Cathedral of St. John the Divine. We walked Central Park to the Bramble and sat quietly observing the birds. That was a wonderful day with family and I will forever hold it close in my heart. We ended the evening celebrating her 80th birthday at V & T, a classic restaurant in New York's Morningside Heights where we had many family meals. Aunt Kathy will be missed by many, but her kind spirit will always be with us especially when I see a cardinal.

We will always have our camping adventures as amazing memories. Even a walker couldn’t stop her from seeing nature and walking in the woods. A beautiful soul and woman with the best hair, A love of birds, nature and cemeteries. We will always have in our vocabulary, “ Getting old is not for sissies “ and “ I should’ve had a daughter” lol. But even though she said that she knew she was one lucky gal to have you two Boys by her side. I only hope my two turn out the same. Love and thinking of you both- Denise
