Obituary of Charles Maines

Charles Maines Sr. 73 of Millville, passed away peacefully on July 9, 2026, after an extended illness. He was a lifelong Millville resident, a retired United States Postal Service Postmaster, and a local musician. He is survived by his wife of 54 years Amy Maines; his children, Wally (Jenn), Chuck (Zoe), Christy, and Greg (Erin); his sister Jeanne Campbell, and sister in-in-law Laura Schwegel (Scott). He is also survived by his grandchildren Loren, Anna (KP), Lily, Jackson, Gavin, Charlie (Katie), Juliana, William, Lawrence Maines, Abbey (Ruben) Perez, Sam, Doug, Lia and Kaitlin Fleming and great-grandson Asher Perez. As well as his aunt, Marie Konshak, and nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral home visitations will be held on Wednesday evening, July 15th from 6pm to 8pm and again on Thursday morning, July 16th from 10am to 11am at Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland, NJ . A funeral mass will follow at 11:30 am from Saint Padre Pio Parish - Church Of Our Lady Of Pompeii, 4680 Dante Avenue, Vineland. Interment will follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Millville.
