Obituary of Evelyn Moser

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Evelyn B. (Schwalb) Moser, 95, on Saturday, July 4, 2026 in Hamilton, NJ. She passed away peacefully with her daughters by her side. Born in 1931 in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Isadore Schwalb and Yetta Goldstein Schwalb. After marrying her husband of 46 years, Leslie R. Moser, she made Vineland, NJ, her home, where she lived throughout her adult life. Evelyn found joy in life's simple pleasures. She was an avid reader who especially loved historical fiction. She loved talking about the stories she read. She also enjoyed attending Zumba classes with friends in Ocean City and taking walks with her dear friends and neighbors. A devoted animal lover, she had a special place in her heart for cats. She never hesitated to help an animal in need and enjoyed caring for any creature that crossed her path. Above all, she valued her family. She was a loving mother to her two children, a cherished mother-in-law, and a proud grandmother to her two grandchildren. She also shared a special bond with her nieces and nephews. To her nieces, she was much more than an aunt, she was a second mother, offering support and acting as a sounding board throughout their lives. Evelyn is survived by her daughters Melody Moser of Mays Landing, NJ, Valerie Mittelman of Phoenix, AZ, her son-in-law David Mittelman and grandchildren, Jason Mittelman and Sydney Mittelman, all of Phoenix, AZ, as well as her beloved nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband, Leslie R. Moser, and her sisters Leona Feldstein, Sandra Silk, and Rose Rosenthal. Evelyn's family would like to thank the amazing staff of Serenity Hospice at the Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in Hamilton, NJ for their support and kindness. Evelyn will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She touched countless lives through her kindness, generosity, and quiet strength, leaving each one richer for having known her. She will be remembered as a woman of grace and compassion, whose gentle spirit, unwavering love, and enduring strength served as an example to others. Her legacy lives on in the family and friends she loved, the values she instilled, and the many lives she touched. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, July 8th at 10am from Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland. Interment followed in Brigadier General William C.
