Obituary of Philip J. Ferraro

Rone Funeral Service 856-691-4222 With heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of Philip Joseph Ferraro on June 4, 2026 at the age of 77. He was a devoted husband, loving father, cherished grandfather, and adoring great-grandfather. Philip was born in 1948 in Rahway, NJ to the late Joseph Ferraro and Josephine Judy (Gatson) Ferraro. He grew up in Woodbridge, NJ and worked for Middlesex Water Company as a foreman. He married Harriett (Yeoman) in Edison, NJ on September 23, 1966, first at a court house and then later remarried at a church. They bought their first home together in South Amboy, NJ. Later in January 1996 they moved down to Vineland, NJ. Philip's hobbies include fishing, hunting, playing cards, riding motorcycles, working on cars, racing, watching wrestling and football. However, his main focus was taking care of his home and spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, Philip was predeceased by his first son, Patrick J. Ferraro. Philip is survived by his beloved wife of almost 60 years, Harriett; his children Judith (Jerry), Jennifer, Jessica (Tamon), Jeana, and Philip Jr.; his grandchildren, Unique (Loren), Destinee, Patrick, Giovanni, Alonah, Lilly; his two great-grandchildren, Tyrese and Naomi; his sister, Judith; extended family Eileen, Sandy, and Alice; Jamiera Boone; the Gerding family; and his niece, nephew, and cousins. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Philip's memory to Shriners Children's or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. A funeral home visitation will be held on Saturday, June 13th from 12pm to 2pm followed by a funeral service at 2pm from Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland.
