Obituary of Joseph Tirelli

Joseph Tirelli, 83, of Vineland, passed away peacefully at home on May 17, 2026. Born and raised by Arthur and Pauline Tirelli. He graduated from Vineland High School and then went to work for the City of Vineland Water Department for more than 40 years. Joe enjoyed hunting and belonged to the Buck Range Gun Club. He enjoyed bowling and belonged to the bowling league, however Joe mostly enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his daughter-in-law Susan Tirelli of the UK; his sister Catherine Fresne of Vineland; his nephew Anthony "Tony" Tirelli of Pittsgrove; his niece Teresa Smith of Vineland and many cousins, great-nieces and great- nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Arlene (Sooy) Tirelli; his two sons Brian and Dennis; his nephews Kevin Tirelli, Gordon Smith and William Smith all of Vineland. A funeral home visitation will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2026, from 10am to 11am followed by a funeral service at 11am from Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland.
