Obituary of Carol Sue Disanti
Carol Disanti of Boynton Beach, formerly of Vineland NJ, joined her late husband John to be with God after a long fight with dementia. Carol was 79 when she passed away peacefully on May 3, 2026.
In 1946, Carol was born to the late Clyde and Juanita Streeter in Topeka, Kansas. She grew up surrounded by a large family. Carol met her late husband John while he was serving in the Air Force. They had a September wedding in the fall of 1965. Carol and John moved to Vineland, NJ where they had three beautiful children. Carol was an office manager at a car dealership until she and John opened a small business of their own called Buddy's Bagels. Before retiring, she was a security guard for the Vineland Public School system.
When she wasn't waking up early to tend to the family business, Carol enjoyed cooking, baking cookies and decorating for Christmas. In retirement, Carol and John moved to Florida and enjoyed traveling, playing shuffleboard, and having happy hour with friends. Carol enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was the best Grammy.
Carol is survived by her loving children Lisa Cole (Scott), Christine Winiecki (Ray), and Paula Disanti; her sister Edna Corn; in-laws Dominie Dondero (Ed), Dennis Disanti; her grandchildren Michael Ostrowski (Danielle), Kelsey Patrick, Madelyn Robertson, Brett Cole, Robert Bryson; great-grandchildren Callie and Christian Ostrowski, Madison, Robert and Charlie Bryson; many nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends. Carol was predeceased by her parents Clyde and Juanita Streeter, her siblings Clyde, Charles, Raymond, Larry, Judy and Jim and her husband John Disanti.
Carol's list of family and friends is long; because of this, she lived a life surrounded by love until the very end. In her golden years, Carol fell victim to the horrible diagnosis of Dementia. Her late husband was her caretaker with the role later inherited by her daughters. Carol is the matriarch of a family connected deeply by love and loyalty. May her soul finally be at home and at peace.
