Obituary of Anthony Lillia

Anthony (Pickles & Danny Boy) Lillia, 96 of Vineland, NJ passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on March 23, 2026 at his daughter's home. Anthony was born in Landisville, NJ on May 2, 1929. Anthony "Tony" grew up in Landisville working at the family homestead as a young boy. Tony went on to work for Thomas Fornataro Distributors before retiring from South Jersey Distributors. Tony loved his wife Katherine of 59 years, raising his four children Anthony, Nicholas, Sheila and Christopher. Tony enjoyed tinkering with lawn mowers, tending to his farm/garden, riding his John Deere tractor and making regular visits to Cowtown and visiting his family. Once Tony became a PopPop things changed. He loved to have his family over and watching the kids running around his yard or attending their events. On any given day Tony could be found outside his garage at his work bench, in the field or anything else using his hands. Nothing was more important than family and enjoying every moment with them. Anthony is survived by his children; sons Anthony (Diane), Nicholas, Christopher (Nina), daughter Sheila Harkness (Brian); his 14 grandchildren, Shavonne, Breanne, Ciara, McKenzie, Alyssa, Haylie, Jamie, Jenissa, Dustin, Joelle, Megan, Nicholas, Heather and Andrew. His 13 great-grandchildren, Riley, Reece, Joey, Jacob, Wayne, Weston, Emily, Aubree, Sophia, Sadie, Arabella, Easton and Saint, his sister Ida Shicunoff and many nieces and nephews. Anthony was predeceased by his wife of 59 years Katherine (Pritt) Lillia, their daughter Rose Marie Lillia; parent's Frank & Rose Lillia, brothers Nick, George, Joey, Jimmy & Rocco; sisters Jenny Tierno, Angie DiBernardo and Katie Siligato. A funeral home visitation will be held on Friday, March 27, 2026 from 10am to 12pm followed by a funeral service at 12pm at Rone Funeral Service, 1110 E. Chestnut Ave., Vineland, NJ. Internment to follow at Our Lady of Victories Cemetary in Landisville.
