Obituary of Harry T. Sawyer

Harry Sawyer, of Millville, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of memories cherished by his family and all who knew him. Harry was the beloved husband of Lucille (Stefano) Sawyer, with whom he shared a life built on love, dedication, and companionship. He was a proud and caring father to his daughter, Lisa Sawyer, and his son, Jeff Sawyer (Jackie). He will be deeply missed by his grandchildren, Tommi-Lynn (Sawyer) Stavoli, Anthony Stavoli, Jeffrey Sawyer (Deme), Jason Sawyer, and Anabelle Sawyer, all of whom brought him great joy. Harry is also survived by his sister, Florence Anton (Bob), and his brother-in-law, Joseph Stefano (Marsha). He will be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, and many extended family members and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Sam and Wilma Sawyer; his in-laws, Joseph and Anna Stefano; and his sister-in-law, Barbara Valoreo. Harry dedicated many years of hard work to DuPont in Deepwater, New Jersey. A carpenter by trade, he was incredibly skilled and handy—always able to fix, build, or improve just about anything. He took great pride in his work, and his craftsmanship will live on in the many things he created and repaired for those he loved. In his free time, Harry had a true passion for antique cars. He loved attending car shows, admiring classic vehicles, and sharing stories with fellow enthusiasts. These outings brought him great happiness and reflected his appreciation for detail, history, and timeless design. Above all, Harry will be remembered as a devoted family man. He valued time spent with his loved ones, whether during family gatherings or in the simple, quiet moments that meant the most. His steady presence, strong work ethic, and caring nature will be deeply missed. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family, in the stories they share, and in the love he gave so freely throughout his life. Services will be held privately in accordance with Harry's wishes. The family extends a special thank you to Brent at Ennoble Care for his compassionate care and for always being there when needed.
