Obituary of Joanne M. Deola

Joanne M Deola, age 64 of Milmay, New Jersey, unexpectedly passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2026. She was born in Philadelphia, PA and is survived by her two sons, Jimmy and Michael Deola; brother, Joseph Hennessey; sisters, Laura and Marjorie Hennessey; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, William Hennessey; mother, Marjorie Hennessey; brother, Michael Hennessey; and husband, James Deola. Joanne spent her early years building a foundation of kindness, resilience, and determination that would guide her throughout her life. After high school, she continued her education, going on to earn a bachelor's degree in accounting. A proud military veteran of the U.S. National Guard, Joanne served her country with honor and commitment. Above all, she was a devoted mother and wife, whose love shaped the lives of those around her. She found joy in reading, held a deep love for nature, and cherished every moment spent with her family. Joanne will be remembered for her service, her compassion, and the unwavering love she shared with those fortunate enough to know her. A funeral home visitation will be held on Thursday, March 5th from 5pm to 6pm followed by a memorial service that will begin at 6pm from Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland.
