Obituary of Arthur P. Smaniotto Jr.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the enormous loss off... Arthur P. Smaniotto, 66, of Vineland suddenly passed away at his home on February 23, 2026. Arthur was a beloved Husband, Father, Nonno, and friend to all who knew him. Arthur was a 1977 graduate of Vineland High School. He proudly farmed the family land until he joined the Dandrea Produce family as the Logistics Director. He became part of their family and will be missed dearly by Frankie, Donna, and Jana. Arthur and his wife Denise loved to travel. They fell in love with Jamaica after sharing their wedding vowels on November 27, 2000. They loved visiting so many places with friends and family, but Mexico, Dominican Republic, and Italy held a special place in their hearts. They were planning a 25th Wedding Anniversary trip to Portugal in April. Arthur would look forward to his annual trips to Maine for deer hunting with his trusted buddies, Mundo, Nicky and Robert where they would cook, drink homemade wine, and Titos with a good cigar. He was an active member of Harmony Gun Club for 20 years. When his dad lovingly known as "Boots" passed, Arthur stepped into his father's boots and became the Treasurer to present day. During deer season he took on the role as Head Chef every year. His "trusted" helpers Mundo and Mike were always by his side! He was also an active member of the New Italy American Society for 50 years. Member of both Vineland and Landisville Produce Auction and Lifetime Member of St. Mary's. He looked forward to Wednesday nights to meet up with all the guys to have dinner, a few glasses of homemade wine, and play pinochle. He also looked forward to his 4th of July BBQ every year in his backyard. Everyone looked forward to his famous wings, which left everyone trying to steal his special "Smaniotto Sauce". He never wrote it down, shared hints, and sadly not even his wife Denise knows what's in it?!? He had so many good memories driving his Harley with friends and cousins, Dennis, Kenny, Root, John, Mike, Paulie, and all their wives. He was a devoted family man who loved spending time with his loved ones. Their hearts are forever broken...He leaves behind his loving and devoted wife Denise (Russo); son Nico (Susie) Tramontana. His two adoring grandchildren Lulu and Nico Jr., affectionately called him "Nonno". His daughter Jenna McCaffrey and husband Michael, two grandchildren; son Jeff Smaniotto and wife Michelle, three grandchildren, and his son John Smaniotto and wife Kathy, two grandchildren. Also his sister Kathy Kiel and husband Fred. Many, many nieces and nephews and so many cousins. His faithful puppy/child companion Madie and Ella his adorable loving grand-dog. Also his special cousin Donna Marie Lupi who he loved like a sister, and special friend BFF Lisa! He was predeceased by his parents Arthur "Boots" and Viola (Bergamo) Smaniotto and his mother-in-law Patricia Russo who loved him like a son.
