Obituary of Daniel Pagano

Daniel Pagano of Waterford, CT passed away Sunday, Feb. 1, 2026, at the age of 74. He was born in New York, NY to the late John and Carmella Pagano. He is survived by his children John (Traci), Daniel Jr. (Gretchen), Joanna (Brian) Lamboy, and his grandchildren, Shawn (Amanda), Gabriella, Michael, Christopher, Nicholas, great granddaughter Kennedy and soon to be second granddaughter. He was predeceased by his first wife, Gracie Nistico, second wife Jo-Ann Pagano and sister, Antoinette Ciallella. He is also survived by his sister, Jeannine (Steven). A graduate of Salesian High School, Danny began his career working in construction before venturing into business with his wife to open a Hallmark Card store in Chester, NY. Later, he enjoyed a career as a ceramic tile business owner which he left to his son Daniel after retiring. Danny's passing leaves his family and friends heartbroken, but they are comforted knowing he is no longer suffering from COPD and is now reunited with his loved ones. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and sibling whose warmth, kindness and sense of humor touched everyone who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished. Danny wished to be cremated.
