Obituary of Wendy S Scarpa
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Wendy Scarpa on 12-25-2025 after a lengthy illness. Wendy was born in 1949. She was the daughter of the late John and Edyth Scarpa and sister of the late John "Jack" Scarpa, Jr.
Wendy graduated from Vineland High School, Cumberland County College and Alliance College after which she was employed by the Vineland Board of Education as a social worker for over 30 years before retirement.
In her youthful days Wendy could be found at North West Swim Club and Sea Isle City. She was a competitive swimmer and very good athlete. She also played and coached softball for many years.
Wendy's young adult years found her spending summers in Margate, NJ and in the fall at Eagles games with her many friends. Wendy loved family and friends and was always in pursuit of her "next party". Unfortunately, due to her respiratory illness, Wendy's later years were spent confined to her home in Sewell, NJ.
Wendy will be sadly missed by her sister, Betty Tobolski; brother and sister-in-law Bruce and Maureen Scarpa; nieces and nephew, Michelle Gonzalez, Becky Williams (Chris), Courtney Craig, Brett Scarpa (Ashley). She will also be missed by great nieces and nephews, Madison and Scott Craig, Jada and Vanessa Williams, Rachel and Jaimmy Gonzalez and Presley and Ryder Scarpa.
A funeral home visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 11:00AM followed by a service at Rone Funeral Service 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland, NJ
Interment will follow in Siloam Cemetery, Vineland.
If you wish, in lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of ones choice would be greatly appreciated.
ARRANGEMENTS are under the supervision of Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland, NJ 08360
