Obituary of Dolores M Genovese

On December 9th, 2025, Dolores Genovese passed away at her residence in the presence of her family after a brief illness. Dolores was born in Millville, NJ in 1951, and was the daughter of Horace and Florence (Spinelli) Genovese. Dolores graduated from Sacred Heart High School in 1969. She furthered her education at Cumberland County College where she earned an Associate`s Degree. Her job profession was working for the State of New Jersey as a Judicial Court Service Officer. Away from work, Dee was a Cheerleading Coach for Sacred Heart Grammar School and then for Sacred Heart High School during the 1980s. She was also the Secretary of the Cumberland County Regular Republican Organization. Dee spent most of her life following and supporting her son and grandson's sporting endeavors no matter how far. Dolores` most fond memories have come from the Jersey Shore when in the company of her family and friends. Dolores is survived by her son Stephen Wescott (Suzi); her grandson Brendan Wescott; brother Thomas Genovese (Carole); her niece/goddaughter Christina Genovese Renna (Michael) and many cousins and friends. A funeral home visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th from 9am to 12pm followed by a Christian service at 12:00 pm from Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland. Final disposition will be at the convenience of her family.
