Obituary of Alice DiGiacomo

Alice (Gifford) DiNunzio Di Giacomo, 98, of Glendora, NJ passed away on Thanksgiving Day, November 27, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in 1927 in Pancoast Mill, NJ to the late Joshua and Eva (Collins) Gifford. Alice lived her early life in Pancoast Mill, NJ and Chesilhurst, NJ. During her teenage years she lived on Oxford Street in Vineland where she gained employment at the basket factory on Earin Street. Alice married Eurelio "Larry" Di Nunzio in 1944. She and Larry made their home in Vineland where they raised their three children. During the 1950's through the 1970's she was a member of the Amalgamated Clothing Workers of America (ACWA) and was employed by several local garment manufacturers. Through the years Alice lived in several locations in South Jersey including Cherry Hill, Sewell, Runnemede and Glendora. She is survived by her three children, Laura Perotti, Christine DiNunzio-Sylvestro and Lawrence "Larry" DiNunzio; grandchildren, Robert Perotti, Mark Perotti, Paula DiNunzio Weaver, Lori DiNunzio DeVault, Michelle Carney and Evan Carney; and seven great-grandchildren. Alice was predeceased by her husband, Eurelio "Larry" DiNunzio in 1975; her 2nd husband, Ernest Di Giacomo who passed in 1984. A funeral home visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th from 11am to 12pm followed by a funeral service at 12pm from Rone Funeral Service, 1110 E Chestnut Avenue, Vineland, NJ 08360. Interment will follow in Our Lady Of Victories Cemetery, Landisville.
