Bella Ressler Obituary

Bella Ressler, 96, of Vineland passed away on October 29, 2025, surrounded by loving family and caretakers. Born in Nowe Miasto, Poland, she and her beloved sister Selma were the only members of her family to survive the Holocaust. After spending two years in Auschwitz, she and Selma and brother-in-law, Morris immigrated together to the United States.

She lived and worked in New York City for the United Fruit Company in the finance department. She met her husband, Murray in the early 1950s. They married in 1955 and moved together to Vineland, New Jersey, where they built a new life. Bella and Murray were happily married for 66 years. In Vineland, they briefly raised chickens and eventually built a successful men`s retail store.

In retirement, they loved the life of snowbirds, travelling to Florida every winter. More than anything, they loved their family, including their children, Gail and Sandy Ressler, (Faye Taxman), granddaughter Elizabeth Ressler (Ian Clark) and grandson Joseph Ressler (Mariam Halata) and great grandchildren, Jacob, and Hannah Clark and Leo Murray Ressler.

May her memory be for a blessing.
