Obituary of Eleanor Greco

Eleanor Greco, 97, of Vineland, NJ passed away on Monday, September 29, 2025. She was born in Winslow, New Jersey to the late Salvatore and Mary (Juliano) Brigandi. She was the 1946 valedictorian of Lower Camden County Regional High School and a 1980 graduate of Cumberland County College. Eleanor was employed at Newcomb Hospital and retired as an RN in the Cardiac unit after 20 years of service. She moved to Vineland after her marriage to Morris Greco in 1948 and raised four children: Donna Marie, Morris, Jeanne, and Gerri Ann. Eleanor was an original member of St. Francis Of Assisi Church (Divine Mercy). She volunteered as a leader for the Brownies and Girl Scouts at the Max Leuchter School, and Inspira Hospital patient relations. She also volunteered at The Spirit and Truth Ministries Soup Kitchen, St. Vincent de Paul Society and the pantry at Divine Mercy Parish. She is survived by her son, Morris Greco; daughters, Donna (Gary Goldmann) and Jeanne (Mark Trucano); grandchildren, Samuel Anastasio, Christi (Ricardo Quinones), Stephanie (Dennis Tamagni) and Danielle (Nicholaj Kirey); great-grandchildren, Paige White, Cassie White, Mia Quinones, Ty Quinones, Isabella Anastasio, Elena Anastasio and Anthony Anastasio; sister-in-law, Judy Brigandi; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Eleanor was predeceased by her husband, Morris Greco; daughter, Gerri Ann; parents, Salvatore and Mary (Juliano) Brigandi; and her brothers, Joseph and Vincent Brigandi. A funeral home visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, from 9am to 10:30am at Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland, NJ. A funeral mass will be held at 11am from Divine Mercy Parish, 23 West Chestnut Avenue, Vineland. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland.
