Obituary of Gladys E. Hampton

Gladys (Gahles) Hampton, 93, of Vineland passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at the Spring Oaks Assisted Living in Vineland. She was born in Millville to the late Harold and Gladys Gahles. Gladys lived in Vineland where she was the primary homemaker for her husband and her children. She is survived by her son, Joseph Hampton Jr. (Darlene); daughter, Patricia Zattoni (Daniel); grandchildren, Joseph M. Hampton (Christina), Tammy Whitby (Craig), Dena Moser (Harold) and Scott Zattoni (Jen); 10 great-grandchildren; and her brother, Harold Gahles (Hermine). Gladys was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Hampton; parents, Harold and Gladys Gahles; and her sister, Delores Sirawatka. A funeral home visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2025, from 10am to 11am followed by a funeral service at 11am from Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland. Interment will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park, Millville.
